VxVM 5.0 for 11.23 not available at software depot

When I look in the software depot for VxVM 5.0 I only see a bundle for 11.31, and nothing

for 11.23. Where can we get a bundle for 11.23?

Hi Marc:

VxVM 5.0 and VxFS 5.0 became available in 2008 for 11.31. As yet it isn't available for 11.23 as far as I know:

Well, that certainly answers why I couldn't find it. Its confusing since there are several manuals at docs.hp.com for 11.23 VxVM 5.0, and at wtec it said that it was available for 11.23. Of course I guess a wtec announcement isn't a public announcement. Thanks for the quick response.

Hmmm, I guess I was/am wrong. I *do* see the 11.24 documents you mention, although the WTEC link doesn't work for me...

...and I now see that one of the 11.23 documents points you to the software depot...

Hi,

Not sure, why vxfs/vxvm 5.0 is not available via software.hp.com for hp-ux 11.23.

But VxFS/VxVM 5.0 for HP-UX 11.23 is allready around since at least 2007 and is also a prerequisite for the sms2.0 bundles, which are also available on hp-ux 11.23.

Contact HP/log a support call, if you are unable to find the software.

Funny. I already dealt with this. I had to call HP and get them to send it to me. It took about a week. It was a real hassle. But they do have the bits internally.

I am fighting with HP support, i'm triying to get them to send me the 5.0 veritas product, but they are telling me they can't find it any where, that they can only find the 11.31 version , do you still have the 11.23 5.0 veritas bundle available ?.
