Hi Admins,
I want to create a subdisk (kc01-02) , but am getting following error
bash-2.05# vxprint
Disk group: kc
TY NAME ASSOC KSTATE LENGTH PLOFFS
dg kc kc - - -
dm kc01 c1t1d0s2 - 143347008 -
sd kc01-01 - ENABLED 204800 -
bash-2.05# vxmake -g kc sd kc01-02 kc01,204801,100m
VxVM vxmake ERROR V-5-1-10127 creating subdisk kc01-0
Subdisk offset violates disk group alignment
please tell me how to find the offset value for kc01-02 subdisk

vxdg -g kc free
will show you what available extents and let you figure out whatoffsets/extents are available on your dms (or disks)
