Hi, I just found this program on my C3000 machine, ran it, it was asking for DISK 1 of Windows 3.1, I got it, but it wouldn't work, checked on website, had to copy all files to folder and use a prog. to make links to UPPERCASE files so Wabi would recongnize them. Everything worked, but here is my question....
Is there going to be a newer wabi that can run Win32 apps? Can I install Win32s on this Win 3.1 on my Wabi and run 32 bit apps?
Thanks.

Wow, it took me a while to remember what Wabi was!
If I remember correctly it was a Sun product. When 32 bit Windows came out Sun said that it was not going to do a version of Wabi to support it. Wabi was good though, at the time.
Better functionality is now supported by other products though I only know of them working on i386 type unixes such as Linux.

Never preceed any demonstration with anything more predictive than "watch this"

Re: Wabi 2.2 on HP-UX 10.20 785/C3000
Yeah, there is even cross platform (I think it's called VMWare) but it's processor dependent, so RISC is out of the question... I wanted to run Ultr@VNC which is WIN32, there is no UNIX port (YET).. We use this at work to do remote control since it has an add-on for encryption.
