WARNING: cblock exhaustion occurred 789990 times
We have an HP 9000 8x7 running 10.20. When I execute this command "dmesg |
more" it gives me the message:
Warning: cblock exhaustion occurred 7899xxx times (termino 7)
which has about 50 or so lines. I checked the man page
to find out what the problem is. I have to tuned the nclist parameter using
the following computation:
100+16*maxusers = 612
Well I checked my nclist using SAM and my maxusers is 32 which equal to 612
above.
What parameter do I need to change next?? Should I change my 612 to 1124
(100+16*54). How does this affect my license?
I don't understand why this error message would occur because we only have 1 to
2 telnet sessions (pty) and no other terminal connection except for 1 modem
connection. The server is used for RDBMS backend Database. It's being
utilized as client-server with TCP/ip protocol serving to 30++ clients.
So can someone shed some light on this problem.

Re: WARNING: cblock exhaustion occurred 789990 times
Hi there
Try to set nclist = 1224 to see if it helps.
This will cost you som memory but have no influense on your lincenc.
The maxusers in the kernal is just a parameter to ajust other parameters with,
it has noting to do with license.
God luck
