Warning: Entry/Exit code is optimized. Cannot restore context (UNWIND 22)

Hi,

I have just added the latest patches from the support plus cd. I restarted oracle and about 10 minutes later i got this message....

"Warning: Entry/Exit code is optimized. Cannot restore context (UNWIND 22)"

Does anyone have any idea what it means?

What OS release? What version of Oracle? Where are you receiving this warning message?

Hi,

We are running HPUX 11.00 and Oracle 8.1.7.

I get the error on the console.

My Oracle DBA tells me that this is ok and he has seen this message before but couldn't really tell me much more than that.

We have the same problem (Warning: Entry/Exit code is optimized).

HP-UX 11.0
Oracle 7.3.4
N-4000

The listener process has been initialized 3 times, but is not working propertly. The user already loged in are working well, but the new ones can hardly connect.

How could we correct this?.

Did you get an answer. I have the same problem. Oracle version 8.1.7 and OS HP-UX 11.11.

I get the error when doing a desc.

I am getting the same message. we have a cluster setup and the oracle is installed on SAN. Today the application was not working so we had a look in the server and the oracle had shutdown. we tried to restart it and then it started giving this message.

OS - HP UX 11.23
Oracle - 10g (10.0.2) 64 bit Production.

I stopped all the application, then shutdown the cluster, restarted the machine, started the cluster and the applications and the error is gone!

But i would like to know what causes this error to occur. Something i noticed was that the process vhand was using around 50% of the cpu and sendmail was using close to 30%

This message has nothing to do with anything, unless you are doing Pascal escapes or C++ throws.

For any other languages, it could happen during Oracle's unwinding to make a stack trace, AFTER there was some other error.

You need to look to Oracle here for the first error.
