Warning: Unable to get configuration for cluster xyz_cluster1.
I changed the default cluster name in the ascii file, from CLUSTER1 to "xyz_cluster1". Now when I run cmcheckconf command, I am getting following warning msg. Other than that, the result seems alright:
Warning: Unable to get configuration for cluster xyz_cluster1.
any idea why?

Re: Warning: Unable to get configuration for cluster xyz_cluster1.
Is the cluster already running as cluster1?
If so - then you have to delete the cluster first, cmdeleteconf, then do your cmcheckconf/cmapplyconf.

Re: Warning: Unable to get configuration for cluster xyz_cluster1.
Hi Henry,
Was the cluster still running when you changed the name?
cmcheckconf shouldn't return any errors. If the clusters running, stop it (cmhaltcl) and then try again.
Cluster Config Steps.
1. Setup trusted hosts within cluster systems:
vi $HOME/.rhosts or /etc/cmcluster/cmclnodlelist
2. cd /etc/cmcluster
3. cmquerycl -C cmclconf.ascii -n node1 -n node2
4. vi cmclconf.ascii
Modify CLUSTER_NAME
Modify MAX_CONFIGURED_PACKAGES
5. cmcheckconf -C /etc/cmcluster/cmclconf.ascii
6. cmapplyconf -C /etc/cmcluster/cmclconf.ascii
7. cmruncl
Kind regards,
Anthony
