Warnings for old patches
What is the cause that after installing new latest upgraded patches, a workstation while installation of new software gives warnings/error messages that few patches(which were earlier installed on the system i.e. old patches)are missing???
The surprising thing about these warnings is that for few old patches warnings are there and for others there are no warnings.
Can you let me know what can be the probable cause for this kind of behaviour???

A deep chasm can't be crossed in two steps
