Was there ever an Itanium-only release of 11.23 (11i v2)?

Hello, I am looking into a question about HP-UX 11.23 (11i v2) that I am unsure about. Specifically, was there ever an Itanium only release of 11.23 (ie: without RISC support)? I know that 11.20 and 11.22 are Itanium only releases, and 11.23 now supports both RISC and Itanium systems. My hunch is that no, there never was such a release of 11.23 that didn't support RISC, or to put it another way, 11.23 has always supported both the RISC platform and the Itanium platform.

Can anyone out there point me to a document or webpage that explicitly makes that statememt?

Interesting that initial versions of 11.23 didn't support RISC, but then support was later added without the version being incremented.

Early release of 11.23 = Itanium only.
Later release of 11.23 = RISC and Itanium.

The version was not incremented but we refer to 11.23 IA only as 11.23 and 11.23 with IA and RISC support as 11.23 0904 "HP-UX 11i v2 September 2004".

The version was not incremented for Sept04 11.23, which has the RISC / PA support, because this support was delivered via 11.23 patches only.

11.23, or HP-UX 11iV2, was released for Itanium systems only.
Since then, HP has decided to release a "combined" release for both PA-RISC and Itanium, hence the nomenclature HP-UX 11.23PI.
This release is also known as HP-UX 11i V2 U2
(Version 2 Update 2)
It is a new OS for PA RISC systems, and a patch update for Itanium systems already on 11.23
