Web Authentication
I am trying to acesses one of my application running on 8080 from my browere using http://server:8080/application
But when I try to acesses this it gives me a popup window asking for user name and password.
How can I disable this popup window.

Manoj,
I suspect your server has got protection on the directory or file.
If the web server is apache, you would have to look in the config dir of the server and establish whether the protection is controlled via htaccess. If so switch the protection of at that level or reset the users password.

Clearly this issue comes from the configuration of the server at the other end of this url.
It appears to be an .htaccess directory protection issue, though it could be merely the configuration of the httpd.conf file.
A good place to check is the access_log or error_log on the server that serves up the web page.
It would be helpful to know what the OS and version of httpd server is involved. As a matter of fact its always helpful to know the OS and software involved when answering questions so one does not need to use the force or tarrot cards to give an answer.
Good Luck with this issue.
