What are the webmail s/w or solutions available for HPUX? I have to configure one HPUX box running 11i( +hpapache) for web hosting as well as webmail for end-user(clients).
TIA,

Re: WebMail for HPUX
A PHP based solution that is open source and I use with linux is squirrelmail
http://www.squirrelmail.org
This website literally contains 50 solutions most of which will work with HP-UX.

Re: WebMail for HPUX
Thanks!
I installed hpuxiexpress1 A.02.00 package which includes:
Fetchmail*
Hypermail
OpenLDAP*
OpenSSL
Perl-LDAP
Pine
ProcMail*
ProFTPD*
Qpopper
With many others. Do you think one of these mail soln can be used for webmail with Perl/cgi or I can do it by default sendmail? I am ery new on this.
Thanks and regards,

SolutionIf you want to offer access to mail on the web via a browser, you need to use one of the tools in my original post.
sendmail is the default transport for mail on and off your box.
elm uses it, pine uses it. Pine is a client tool, sendmail is a server tool that is usually run as a daemon.
it can be used as a client but has no interface per say.

Re: WebMail for HPUX
Sqwebmail - http://www.inter7.com/sqwebmail/sqwebmail.html
You will need to convert to maildirs from mbox.

Re: WebMail for HPUX
Thank you both for your input. Still I am not sure to which I should go! There are so many choices. But I will decide within very short time. I'd like to open and running this thread so Pls provide your valuable suggestions/inputs in the up coming days as I am going to install and configure the webmail.
Thanks and regards,
Richard
