Webmin is a god-send... Use it and trim down your SysAdmin costs. I know of a site that reduced admin headcount from 10 to just 2! One is a truly expreienced admin and the other a PERL/php wiz.

They were able to create their own WebMin custom plugins. Heck, even the CIO can now manage the UNIX enterprise with Webmin.

Possible replacment to SAM?

Re: webmin on hp-ux

I have webmin on all my systems. HPUX 10.20 to 11i, Solaris, AIX and Linux. It is truly a remarkable interface. With proper configuration you can allow operators to do very serious things without fear.

Even though I will always be a command line man myself, I highly recommend it. Just be sure you know what is going on behind the scenes. Nothing worst than a sysadmin asking for help because his GUI front end is confusing him. :)

Re: webmin on hp-ux

Hi!
I thing this can be measured by you
for your system. Just start webmin-session and look on "top & glance". You could
decide this problem by yourself for
your system
Regards.
