websphere portal software on hpux

Is IBM WebSphere portal 5.1 software available on HPUX too ? Does anyone using this product ?

Shiv, Yes. I have installed in HP-UX 11.11 some time back.

hi,

Yes. IBM WebSphere Portal for Multiplatforms, Version 5.1 is available on hp-ux but it not supported on Itanium.

We have WebSphere running on hpux.
However, for version 5.x and 6.x only version 11.i is supported (thus not 11.0)

On HPUX is no problem, as long as you do not
run Mc/Serviceguard. Not that it can't work,
but you need to change the default port numbers and IBM don't like that.

You can have coexistence too,
which is handy for upgrades
