Weird FTP errors

Greetings! One of our customers is doing some automated FTPing and gets very odd errors from time to time:

Error - incorrect permissions on /dev/tty.

can't find list of remote files: No such file or directory

I've checked the permissions on /dev/tty; they're the same as on other servers. I've checked the umask on the account as well, it's set to 022. I can't figure it out! The only thing I can think of is that maybe the MGET processes are competing and failing? The client frequently does simultaneous FTPs using the same account.

I just got the same error, did you ever find the cause? I too am at a lost of why this is happening....
