Many thanks all for the congrats, and especially SEP for the post...

Getting into Hogwarts was not always easy and I think I will enjoy my stay here somewhat longer, leaving SEP's record speed to olympian alone. I might be quicker getting to Hogwarts, but he sped up after getting his first hat in a way I won't keep up with, even if I had the resources to do so. ;-)

I have not figured out yet who is responsible for the final 11 points that got me exactly at 1000 points (I last looked yesterday evening just to see if I got the new hat and had 989 points) but a great many thanks to everyone assigning me points.

I'll try to be carefull not to let the fireballs fly freely and take a try at playing Quidditch... so a warning to the other wizards: mind your head... low flying dutchman about.

Some of them get there and stay there, being happy to have reached yet another level, some of us cross the line at a calm pace, almost not noticing that the headgear changed, and some of us, like Pete, SEP, Elmar, and Michael cross the line at such deadly pace that they hardly noticed that the headgear changed at all. Please enjoy the warmth of the most beautiful hat of the complete range, and be warned that the crown is a lot less comfortable.

I'm happy to see yet another set of extremely enthousiastic members, and I'm also happy that I can sometime correct them in their Perl remarks, making myself feel a bet less outwaged.
