wget 1.12 missing 2 shared libraries
I recently installed wget version 1.12 from the HP-UX Porting Center in the UK, along with all of the wget runtime dependencies, on an 11.23 system. The install depot is either missing two 32-bit shared libraries that it expects to find in /usr/local/lib/hpux32 or the install process was supposed to create links to these in /usr/lib/hpux32.
I fixed wget by creating the following 2 symbolic links:
ln -s /usr/lib/hpux32/libssl.so /usr/local/lib/hpux32/libssl.so
ln -s /usr/lib/hpux32/libcrypto.so /usr/local/lib/hpux32/libcrypto.so
I submitted a request to the HP-UX Porting Center to correct this, but I am not sure how long this will take. For everyone out there, I am posting this on the Forums so that you can fix wget quickly.
