Can anyone help on following issue :
For some avoidable reason we need to change the HBA card on a rx2660 machine ( the OS is HPUX 11.23).
The storage is MSA1000. No graphical interface is available.
The problem is when we change the HBA card its WWN number is changed and disk is no longer available to the system. Then we immediately rollback the HBA card its old one.
Now my query what is details procedure to doing HBA card on the system ( in MSA part and OS part).
Wait for experts reply.

SolutionIf the MSA is using SSP, this needs to be adjusted too (via ACU, ACUCLI or serial CLI).
Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.

One more information the system only have one HBA. So after replace the HBA card the disk is not accessible from the system.
Please suggest.

As said, if SSP is enabled, you need to adjust it (selective storage presentation - what WWN is allowed to see what LUN).
Hope this helps!

Torsten.
