Re: What are these warnings meant?

This type of problem has been seen many times, primarily due to the X emulator on your PC. See the link below which may be of assistance.

Re: What are these warnings meant?

It's probably caused by the X simulator. I encountered this before when I was using Xmanager. It would happen too when use ReflectionX.
Just ignore these messages! The system will use another fonts instead and can work fine!

Re: What are these warnings meant?

You'll get these errors from just about any Xwindow application. The problem is that it is impossible to follow all the font changes in every flavor of Unix. So the solution is to have your Xwindow emulator get it's fonts from the Unix box, in this case, HP-UX. Just use SAM to set up a font server. Once it is running, change your local Xwindow display device (ie, Xterminal or PC running an Xwindow emulator) to use a font server and point it to the HP-UX box. Now your fonts will all be located and displayed correctly.

Re: What are these warnings meant?

hi,

if you are using a X emulator, there should be a setting that tells it to use the fonts from HP-UX.

Hope this helps!
