Monday nights I play chess at http://www.nychess.org/index.php in a league of 12 teams, 5 people per team. My rating is around 1300.

Tuesday night I bowl.

Wednesday night I work late

Thursday night I relax

Friday night I get drunk

Saturday I get drunk again, but only after doing the yard and pool stuff and maybe some inside the house stuff

Sunday I recooperate from to much drinking on Friday and Saturday night, and do the laundry, read the paper, watch the news, do the crossword, and basically veg

Personal rule: No computers after work...

1. My wife and 2 boys are priority number 1.
2. I enjoy music tremendously, collecting CDs and seeing live shows (I am a huge fan of "The Samples". The attached pic. is a crowd shot from the stage at their recent show in Chicago, I am in there somewhere...)
3. I have just started a wine collection.
4. Home improvement projects and building things takes up the rest of my time.

I don't know if its a "hobby", but since I was laid off at HP, and my son-in-law had been called back into the Army after 9-11, I became a coach/father figure for a local competition cheerleading squad.
.
Two of my granddaughters are on the team, and with practices during the week, competitions on Saturdays, and, in April, the Nationals, I've been pretty busy.
.
Attached is the photo that was in several local papers after the Riverfront Rockets Mini-Pee Wee team won the National Competitions in Hershey, Pa.
.
The two in front, on the left are my granddaughters.
Nearest the trophy is Corryn age 5, and on the outside is Cailyn age 7.

Second Response.
As I said in the previous response, my son-in-law was called back into the army after 9-11. Just after he left, my daughter found out she was pregnant with number 4 grandchild.
.
What with looking for a job, helping with Cheerleading, my wife and I took on, as best we could, an effort to make our daughters life easier.
.
My wife works nights, so I got the "Dad, Corryn's hand is swollen. Can you take her to Children's hospital." type of calls. (Usually at 1:30 am).
.
Fortune smiled on my son-in-law. He happened to be home on leave when my daughter went into labor. I spent the night with the granddaughters, my wife left work and met them at the hospital, and 32 hours later, (yes, 32 hours labor.) my grandson Andrew arrived.
.
Now a year old, he's my newest hobby. See attached.

I appreciate the thought, Steven. I'm now the Technical System Support Expert with a small company, (12 people) that turned six figures in profit last year on supporting HP Mid-range servers. (A lot of our business is technical support for a couple of companies in Japan.)

Not the big business atmosphere I was used to after 28 years with HP, but it's nice.

My number one hobby is scuba diving. Just got back from 10 days of diving in the Turks and Caicos Islands.

I'm also known to occasionally to jump out of a perfectly good plane (if you consider one held together with duck tape perfectly good).
