Hi,

MC => Multi-Computer

HP also has a product known as Metro Cluster which can sometimes be confused with the MC in MC/SG. It's a higher level product that includes site failover across distances up to 100 Km which is frequently paired up with Continuous Access XP which will mirror data real-time across that distance as well.
