What drivers/patches for a L2000 to use a SureStore 40fx?

We have an old Optical Surestore 40fx that we have connected to a L2000 server
running HP-UX 11.11. The system sees the 40fx, but it is unclaimed. What drivers are necessary to load it on the L2000? Are certain patches necessary?
Can't find much info on this, so any help is appreciated.

I assume you did an insf -e, just to see if anything happened.

Perhaps the custom patch manager can possibly help with your dilema.

Also the HP response center may be able to help @ 1-800-633-3600. If it is as old as you say it is, maybe only they can help.

You can get the software from the HP STM Firmware bundle dated 06/06/01. Its 1.96MB and has the following drivers

To install these files, type the following: sh fx_jun01.shar

Then follow the directions displayed. This file contains a self-extracting bundle of firmware files for the 4X MO Drives and Autochangers.

Thanks Vito. That gives me 10 firmware updates files, but I don't see anything information on how to install those firmware files or which ones.
Also, I figured out the other part of my problem which was I did not have the schgr driver activated. Once I did that I can the 40fx is now claimed and I can see the /dev/ac files. I also installed patch PHKL_23246 which was related to a fstyp issue for optical drives. If I can get clarification on the firmware I'll have this done. Hp by the way has been no help. I've had a ticket open for almost 2 days and no response yet. Maybe they're on early vacation. :-)

Thanks Sanjay. I had already seen those docs, but they don't help with the driver and firmware questions I have. By the way, the matrix says this isn't supported on 11.11, but we're hoping it will still work.
