What is "samx" - the sam process ??

i saw 2 process running one of my boxes:
... /usr/lbin/samx -c ....
Does anyone know what is samx and what does it do? I was thinking it is the proces when sam runs, is this correct ?

its the sam gui : gui for system administration on hpux.

Yes, samx is part sam. It includes the File editing libraries for those parts of sam . Nothing to worry about.
Im from Palmerston North, New Zealand, but somehow ended up in London...

Yes is correct. samx is infrastructure and library.
