Giving a description appears to be a common use:

From the 'hpvmmodify -l' description:
Modifies the descriptive label for this virtual machine. The label can contain
up to 256 alphanumeric characters, including A-Z, a-z, 0-9, the dash (â ), the
underscore (_), and the period (.). To include spaces, the label must be quoted
(" ").

Hi

Its new, an additional descriptive and optional text.

This is consistant with Workload and project in virtual machines, where similar processes are grouped together for better performance and resource management.

There is an expectation from HP that you will be shifting cpu's, etc. around often enought to need this.
