What method does HP-UX use to enhance security beside encrypted password?

I know other UNIX system some using shadow password.

"Trusted system" is the term you are looking for.

Hi,

You can set up the system as 'trusted',
which does a number of things beside
having encypted passwords. You can do this
from the command line using
# /usr/lbin/tsconvert

or use SAM --> Auditing and Security
--> system security policies
This will prompt you to change to a
'trusted' system.

Also, get a copy of Chris Wong's book "HP-UX 11i Security". Most Unix systems have common tools for security, but each installation is different so the choices need some background information.
