I've tried man, Google, and ITRC, but nobody anywhere seems to describe what the "unhashdaemon" is for. Seems like it gets started very early in the boot process, so I'm guessing it does SOMETHING important. A security scan flags it as a "forbidden process" but I need to get a handle on what it does so I can tell the security guys to pound sand. :)
Thanks!

Re: What's the unhashdaemon?
Hi Matt,
If it is started early in the boot process, you can have a look into rc.log and corresponding control script and configuration file. You should get some idea from there.
