What type of CPU's do I have

How can I tell whether I have single or dual core CPUS ?

I have used cstm to identify that my CPU's are PA8900. Where can I reference whether these are single or dual core ?

Hi,

if you have a single core cpu "top" will display this as an single cpu. If you have dual core cpu's top eill display therse as multiple CPU's.

I used cstm and confirmed single or dual core by looking at the slot number for each CPU entry.

the PA-8900 *is* a dual core CPU - always.

Even though a PA-8900 is always Dual core, I think they can be sold with a core disabled via ICAP (instant capacity on demand).
