whats wrong with this cmd ?

i wanna build a mirror use the /dev/dsk/c0t8d0 ,so i use lvextend cmd, but some thing wrong ,and i dont know what does the message mean :
lvextend -m 1 /dev/vg00/lvol10 /dev/dsk/c0t8d0
Usage: lvextend
[-A Autobackup]
{-l LogicalExtentsNumber |
-L LogicalVolumeSize}
LogicalVolumePath [ PhysicalVolumePath... | PhysicalVolumeGroupName... ]
"m": Illegal option.

Looks like you are missing MirrorDisk
Mirrored disk operations require the installation of the optional HP MirrorDisk/UX software, which is not included in the standard HP-UX operating system.

You can also see that it doesn't like the -m option. That's why is tells you the usage. The last line even tells you, you used an illegal option.
I'd not expected to not even know the -m option if you don't have mirrordisk installed, but the truth is very hard.

should not return anything (in your case) which means the software is not installed
