When does HP-UX 10.20 support end ?

From an HP newsletter I received this week:


HP has discontinued the HP-UX 10.20 operating system.
You
should take it into consideration in your system
planning for
the upcoming year.

You should keep in mind two key dates for the
discontinuance
of the HP-UX 10.20 operating system, along with the
associated products and manuals:
The end of sales date: June 30, 2002, after which all
HP-UX
10.20 products will be removed from HP's price list
and enter
maintenance mode.
The end of support date: June 30, 2003. Up to this
date all
support services will be available for HP-UX 10.20.

In maintenance mode, HP plans to continue to review
all
reported defects against HP-UX 10.20 software and
continue
to work on defect fixes. HP support staff intends to
continue to
help you determine workarounds in the event a patch
is not
available. However, HP will not add new features to
the
HP-UX 10.20 operating system.

HP is aware that your computing needs have grown in
recent
years to the point where many applications require a
large
address space. To better meet your needs, HP has
decided to
focus system software investments on our strategic
HP-UX
11.0 operating system and HP-UX 11i operating
environment
releases.

As you plan your future hardware platforms, it is
important to
know that the HP-UX 10.20 operating system will not
support
the PA8700 products available in 2001. The PA8700
systems
are planned to be supported by the HP-UX 11.0
operating
system or the HP-UX 11i operating environment
versions
only.

I meant when HP is planning to end its support, after the later versions are released? I have to plan to wind up 10.20 installation well before that time frame. Hard to convince the users... uh.

There is now enough time left, so that I can plan to move to 11i (on possible machines) instead of 11.00.

I have a leter from HP saying that the HP-UX 10.20 OS, along with teh associated products and manuals are available for purchase until Jne 30, 2002. It then goes into maintenance mode. Support etc, is available until June 30, 2003.
