where is cxperf ?

I want to profile my programs but I can't find cxperf.
How should I use it and where is it located?
It seems to be an extension of aCC...

Thanx for answering!

Re: where is cxperf ?

Hi,
Cxperf exists only for HP-UX 11.0 or 11.11. It lives in /opt/cxperf but is an optional product (you have to purchase it). Cxperf is in 'maintenance mode' and will not be further developed.
I'd rather recommend the free tool 'prospect', available on all HP-UX platforms and under Linux. Check out http://www.hp.com/go/prospect
It is more powerful than cxperf. On IA64 you can alsu use 'caliper'.
Hope that helps

From what I can see, getting information on how to use it is relatively easy. Try theses URLs...

This last one suggests that you may have a problem aquiring a copy of it without going straight through HP, but you can judge for yourself:

Hope you find this useful.
