Which 'make' does sam use for NIS?

I've just set up a new machine to replace my ageing NIS server.

I've just tried to change a password using sam and it prompts me for the password file (which I know) and also whether to use make or ypmake.

I want to use the same setting as on my old NIS server, so my question is where does it store which command to make the maps with?

Thanks,

Gary

I think it is /var/yp/Makefile

chek this doc.

Thanks for the reply Robert. What I'm really looking for is the settings/config file that sam uses to store which make to use.

Thanks,

It's 'make' which is specified in /var/sam/preferences.

I placed a call with HP in the end - thanks go to Andy Hollox.
