why lano is different status between lancan and cmviewcl?

Both were DOWN, now you (somehow) toggled it to be "UP" - did you check the cluster after this?

cmviewcl output shows the state of the link, so it is telling you there is a link issue.
lanscan shows the state of the hardaware (NIC) and then the link state, hence the card is ok, bit again th elink is DOWN.

If you are on HP-UX 11.31, use nwmgr, as this will show each NIC and whether the LINK is up or down.

This shows that lan1 has no working LINK

depending upon your supposed connectivity, you could try using linkloop to test, but it looks like you have a connectivity issue on lan1

I found the root reason is from syslog,lan card ever happened fail so that cmviewcl output shows one lan card statsu is down, so I use command commodnet -e lancard to enable it,now it is ok, thanks!

well, is there SUPPOSED to be physical connectivity between lan0 and lan1?
If so, you need to verify your cables, switch ports etc.

Could be a bad card (port); bad cable or bad switch (port) - check them all. Of course you cannot check the cable from remote ... ;-)

ioscan only says the card is alive, it says nothing about the ports of the NIC.

Consider to logon to the switch and check the ports. Normally the MAC will be shown, but without a connection you need to refer to your own documentation of cabling.

you will need to get your networking team to help here, as this could be a number of items. As Torsten says, the NIC card is ok, but a PORT on the card may be faulty, more likely a cable or networking device like a switch.

Well, to check a port you must connect "something" there, even a cable (connect the other end "somewhere") or a loopback connector.

If you get "link up", cable and port are ok.
