Winbind on HP-UX 11.31 slowing down server

Hi,

I have setup Samba and winbind on a freshly build HP-UX 11.31 server and everything was running fine until suddenly I start to notice a slow down on ls command or ps -eaf. I tried to troubleshoot it and decided to stop samba. As soon as I did that the server behaviour was back to normal. When I start samba again, it does not affect the server immediately but only after some time. Not sure what is causing it. Any idea out there? When the server run slow again I this time tried to stop only winbind and the server is back to normal again!!
Driving me nuts !!!

What is your logs located at /var/log/samba/, showing ?
