HI All:
I have some question for HPVM SCSI Bus type.
I try to create 2 Windows 2008 for Itainum on HPVM host. Create & set Share type 2 Share LV for the both guest. The both guest can access the 2 disk. I set the share disk for MBR (Try to GTP too) Basic. But i create Failover Clustering between the windows guest. Run validation wizard. Get the Error result for the Share Disk:The Scsi bus type does not support the clustering.
I can't find any setting on hpvm about scsi bus type. I know on the ESX server, we need to change the Scsi Bus type to LSI Logic & Scsi Bus sharing to Virtual. Any same setting on hpvm? Thanks for your help.

Interesting... the latest released version of HPVM is 4.0 (4.1 out very soon now).
4.0 to the best of my knowledge doesn't support W2008 *or* MS Clustering... unless you can tell me different?
So I think you did well to get as far as you did, but next time you should probably RTFM before starting.

Re: Windows Clustering On HPVM
Thanks for your answer. Any Official data for HPVM doesn't support Failover Clustering? I can't find any information for this case.

Re: Windows Clustering On HPVM
If infrastructure products had to list everything they *don't* support, the support matrices would be hundreds of pages long.
You should never imply lack of data to indicate support. When reading all HP support statements, you should always assume that if a configuration is not explicitly mentioned, it is not supported. In those cases if you need absolute confirmation, you'll need to speak to your local HP reps.
