windows rename problem on HPUX 10.20 using ASU 9000
Before we get into this, we are planning to go to HPUX11i. We move ssssslllllooooowwwww.
We have seen a lot of files on UNIX with the 12-31-1969 date. I have found that using windows 2000 explorer to do the rename changes the date to 1969.
>ls -l A*

12 Sep 20 13:38 Asutest.2
10495 Sep 1 05:01 AutoRaid_logmaint
/tmp
>ls -l A*
12 Sep 20 13:38 Asutest.2
0 Dec 31 1969 Asutest.3
10495 Sep 1 05:01 AutoRaid_logmaint
Anyone have a simlar problem?
Can someone check on CIFS and HPUX 11i?
TIA

Re: windows rename problem on HPUX 10.20 using ASU 9000
Thanks Pete. I read that last week when someone told me they were getting data/time stamp problems.
It happens to be fairly consistant but not 100%.
Thanks
