Wiping non-OS disk
I have been accidentaly erased my vg00 (1 disk) not looking carefuly where my vg00 is with dd if = /dev/zero of= /dev/dsk/c0t0d0 command, and now, obviously I can't login to HPUX anymore because its gone. Can I somehow erase 1 more internal disk in single user mode or maybe LVM maintenance mode. Please, if someone can guide me through this process, I would be greatful!

Re: Wiping non-OS disk
Do you have an ignite backp (tape or net). It would be easy to recovery.
If you need more assitance from forum, please give more info as below:
-your HP-UX ver
-PA or IPF (itanium)
-How many disks were there in VG00
-Was it mirrored or not
-Do you have a getconfig output

Re: Wiping non-OS disk
You have another vg (may be vg01) and it contains one disk. You want to erase the data on that disk also. Is it your question. Please clarify.
If the scenario is as above, then what is your requirement for erasing that disk. What you want to achieve by erasing the non-vg00 disk.
