wireshark - libgio

I am trying to install wireshark on to an 11i server. I have had to install zillions of other dependancies.

I am now stuck - its complaing about the missing library libgio-2.0.s1 .... I can find no reference to this package on the http://hpux.connect.org.uk/hppd/

Any ideas please?????

Hy,

It's much easier if you use the iexpress depot from HP, that has wireshark.

It has all the dependencies you need, you can download it from:

Nope, you can't use 11.23.

I don't now if you can download it for 11.11:

Internet Express for HP-UX 11i v1 is available as version A.10.00 in the OE/AR media kit 0803. This is the last release for HP-UX 11i v1 and no new versions are available as a Software Depot download.

Hmm, when I reported the 11.11 link broken months ago, I guess they removed the link and added words.

I couldnt find an HP download for it. Went back to the HP Porting site, went thru every dependancy and sub-dependancy.

Wireshark now tries to open a gui, says its staring to initialize dissectors but core dumps with

Fatal: no entropy gathering module detected

can't find any reference to that error message on google :-(

so 2 steps forward and 1 back. Not sure where to go from here!
