Workstation crashes with the following Q4 Result

A workstation crashes very often. After running the Q4 tool I get the attached file as an output. Among others the following lines are the panic messages:
USB HID: Request completed with DNR. Device 5 usb_set_feature(): Pipe failed to close
ERROR hub_attach_dev(): could not reset port
failed to reset and has been disabled.
usb_handle_irp(): Unable to retry request 3ee7f4

Has anybody an idea what the cause of the crash is and what can one do against.

Thanks in advance.

Re: Workstation crashes with the following Q4 Result

It seems the fault came from your USB port. Do you have a device attached via USB ? if your note using it try leaving it disconnected.
However, the error Data Memory Protection Fault can almost always be overcome by patching. Try updating your patches to the latest patch bundle, or go to the ITRC home page, then to Individual patches and search for USB (patches) for the latest USB patch.

Re: Workstation crashes with the following Q4 Result

Looks like you need PHKL_20477 for HP-UX 10.20, or PHKL_20478 for HP-UX 11.00
Be aware there are dependencies aqnd you MUST ensure you install htese depencies, otherwise you will have problems building the kernel.
