wu-ftp2.6.2 Globbing failed
Hi,
i've a very frustrating problem with the latest version of wu-ftp. It is on a HPUX 10.20 box. The problem is when some of my ftp users connect to the box, and do an "ls *.abc" or whatever extension, they get a "550 Globbing failed" message. This happens if there are no files called whatever.abc in the directory.
The only fixes I can find involve editing a line in the source code, and reinstalling from source. This is not ideal, as I will probably have to remember to make this change in the code whenever I update the software, etc. I'm sure there must be an easier fix for this.
So far it is happening from my own Windows 2000 command line ftp client, and to people connecting from Sun machines. Has anyone else seen this?
Dermot.

Happy is harder than money. Anyone who thinks money will make them happy, doesn't have money.
