x.25 huntgroup members do not accept incomming requests

Hi,

I've configured several x.25 connections and
all are running fine individually.
However, as soon as the indivdual line is
configured as a member of a huntgroup, a
clear 0, cause 245 is given directly.
Although other lines are working fine inside
of the huntgroup.
Is there a variable which i can set, to let
the member accept incomming calls from other
destination numbers?

Please help.
Regards,

Hi Ceesjan,

Excuse me, I can't resolve this problem.

Seems you are an expert of X.25. I am learning FTAM and X.25 now. Maybe we can be friends. My email: frao@cienettechnologies.com. I am looking forward to hearing from you in the near future.

Ceesjan,

I am not an expert in X.25 hunt groups, but your application should try to bind to * instead of a specific X.121 address, because when the call becomes re-routed, it sees that the X.121 address has changed and it rejects it.
Not sure if this is clear, just to give you a hint...

Re: x.25 huntgroup members do not accept incomming requests

Hi,
My problem was solved due to a small setting
inside of the networkconfigruation.
DTE numbers can be part of a huntgroup.
But being in a huntgroup, the huntgroupnumber
can overrule the individual members if the
force option is set.
In this situation a few of the huntgroupmembers
were forced and a few not.

Note: if the force-option in the x.25 network is set, the individual devices' nsap address has to be set to the groupnumber.

Ceesjan
