X windows problem

Dear All,

I installed a simulation software. After which i get this error message, when ever I try to run the software:

X Error of failed request: GLXBadContext
Major opcode of failed request: 150 (GLX)
Minor opcode of failed request: 3 (X_GLXCreateContext)
Serial number of failed request: 176
Current serial number in output stream: 177

I am in vain as the X windows and the CDE is working fine.

Check the software is supported on HP-UX or not.

Hi,

Looking at the error messages it seems the software uses OpenGL for writing display on X screen, check do u have OpenGL installed on u r HP-UX box.

Yes the software is for HP_UX. I am using zx6000 with HP_UX 11. I think OpenGL is installed. It would be very helpful if could tell me how to check it.

check with swlist if the product is installed.

Do you have OPENGL patches like
