X windows with Exceed timing out
Hi,
I just re installed the O/S with Ignite tape.
The system seems to be running fine but since then, we are unable to run a single window exceed session. It times out.
Any ideas where to beging looking?
Much appreciated!

Hi Josee,
I think you are using exceed from your workstation to get a CDE screen to your hp. what do you mean by timeing out. IF it timeing out when you are logged in or it times out if you just open the login window and let it sit over there.

Re: X windows with Exceed timing out
Thanks for your assistance.
I found that dtlogin daemon wasn't running and that the desktop file had vanished for some reason.
I appreciate your efforts!
