x25 network

Hi,

I'd like to know how to configure x25 enviroment (adding new hosts etc.) in
existing x25 network. Where can I find
configuration files etc.

Thank you in advance

Re: x25 network

The configuration files for x25 networks seem to be in /etc/x25 (on our system anyway).
The start up file is in /etc/rc.config.d/x25
Which calls up config files from /etc/x25, e.g.
x25config_0 for x25 lan0
We have other files which relate IP address to Serial DNE numbers, ip_to_x121_map
I hope this is of some help.
With regards
Ben

Re: x25 network

Hi
The files for x25 are in /etc/x25 and are x3xxxx, x29xxxx and x25xxxxx.

Sam can be used to configure these files - select the x25 card and insert your settings.

If you require examples of x25/x3/x29 files email me at paula@avro.co.uk

Re: x25 network

Hello,
I hate to say the obvious, but there is excellent X25 documentation available online at http://docs.hp.com -> Networking/Communications -> X25 ->
HP X.25/9000 User's Guide (HP-UX 10.x, HP-UX 11.0, HP-UX 11i)

However if you are using ACC/X25, you need to look at http://docs.hp.com ->
Networking/Communications -> Advanced Communications Controller -> X.25/ACC Installation and Configuration Guide

Hope this helps,
