XDM for HP-UX 11

I've reviewed a couple of the threads regarding installing XDM. I've got it installed on one of my 10.23 servers, and it appears to be a part of the Enware software package. Can someone confirm this for me? Can I get XDM to load for 11.00 from the HP site?

Not from the HP porting centres. But maybe this link will help?

Maybe from installing X11 and cde?

Is there a reason that you need XDM specifically? The dtlogin daemon serves the same purpose as XDM and its installed on the machine as part of CDE.

Santosh is right. I was able to put my machine into XDM mode with the software already installed.

In the /etc/config/Xconfig you set the dDtlogin*xdmMode to True.

Then in the /etc/dt/bin before the Xsession file determines if it's running in XDM mode I entered SESSIONTYPE="xdm"

I think that's what did it.
