XDMCP broadcast from X terminal, staring CDE stops

Hello!

The problem:

Using an X terminal (X server, emu, Hummingbird Exceed) after a broadcast and
selecting the HP-UX 11
box (class D380), the login screen appears correctly.

after entering username/password the blue screen
appears (starting CDE, and so on),

and nothing else happens.

startlog:

--- Mon Dec 27 15:31:49 MET 1999

it runs, and then nothing happens.
It is blue, and blue...

Usually with exceed there are no problems with HP-UX
10.20 and 11.

What else to check? Could it be an install problem
of CDE? scripts missing and so on...

thanks

Robert

Hello,

to fix your problem, I suggest you to re-install CDE, X11, and the Xserver
filesets.

Regards.
