XDMCP Connection Failed Error on HP-UX 11.31.
But, it is working for 11i v1 & v2.
Any suggestion would be appreciated.

Edit /etc/rc.config.d/xfs

Set it to auto start.

/sbin/init.d/xfs start

Also, by default 11.31 does not install CDE. You will need to install it from the original install media.

Also, xfs start didn't work.

You will need to install the base CDE environment from the HPUX install dvd.

I would try to find out the software in DVD media and update you accordingly if it works fine.

Would it be available in March 2008 DVD media as my EOE is Mrch 2008 release.

FWIW: I too had this issue and in addition to the above, had to modify Bastille.
