xdmcp connection failed in hp-ux.
dtlogin service is running.

check networking on both systems
check hostname resolution on both systems
run dr_dt on XDMCP server perhaps ?

Come back with some specific details on the enviroment, what you are trying to achieve, ip's etc and we maybe able to assit you more.
