xhost + command
Hi, unix gurus, If we want user to open PDF report from unix server, need to run xhost + command.Any solution will be appreciated.Thanks in advance.

And then ? What's the problem ?
Is PDF reader launched from unix server to be dispayed on a client ? Client must be running an Xserver and accept connexion. If client is a Windows machine, must have an X server as cygwin or X emulation as Reflexion X or Exceed.
If you want help, please give a little more detail on your problem.

So, the pdf doc is on Unix server....
You can:
use samba and share oout that directory to Windows clients
use apache and have a link to the pdf doc via a web browser
client can ftp the doc to their machine and open locally
xhost not needed at all...
