Hello all,
i have a problem on my workstation B.10.20 A 9000/782.
The X server didn't mount , all external login are OK but an X local login is impossible !!!
The dtlogin process turn correctly

Help me !!!!

The X server didn't mount? Is this an NFS mount or a local mount?

run below command and check the error messages.

# dr_dt

No it's a services .... /sbin/rc3.d/S990dtlogin.rc

When the workstation boot she stops on Xservers error

As stated, run the /usr/contrib/bin/X11/dr_dt
See what warnings/errors are present.

I have a lot of warning about owner of /usr/dt
but i have messages in Xerror :
Fatal server error:
Couldn't open X pointer device! Is one attached?

CDE is very dependent on resolution. Make sure you have name resolution forward, bacwards up, down, sideways, etc...

Name resolution - can you do nslookup commands?
By short name, FQDN, IP address, etc...

nslookup is OK.
CDE is a local systeme.
After un reboot the X server didn't work
