XTerminals
Hello All,
We have installed NCD XTerminals on a network with multiple UNIX
servers including 2 L2000 running HP-UX11.0 and 2 K460 servers
running HP-UX 10.20.
The problem is that the XTerminals can not run CDE session on the
HP-UX 11.00 servers although telnet is working . No problem with
the other servers. Please advise.
Thank you.

Re: XTerminals
Run dr_dt and check /var/dt/Xerrors for more information. Also, what errors are reported in /etc/rc.log? Check nslookup on your hostname and IP and make sure both resolve correctly.

Re: XTerminals
Check out your sys admin guide for Ncd ware or what ever the latest version of NCD xterminal s/w is being called .... reference the specific section on fonts "for NCDWARE 5.1 ...
Host specific font problems .... basically my guess is you will need to setup xfs on the hpux box, include the CDE fonts in the catalogue and add the fontpath of the font server to the xterminals fontpath.
Worth checking the logs on the xterminals ... if you see font or dt-interface fonts then try the above or check the trouble-shooting section in the NCD admin guides : see http://www.ncd.com/support/docs.html
