xvfb will not start properly at boot
I have configure xvfb to start at boot; however, it will not start correctly. However, if I run the start up script from the command line, it works fine.
The path is set in the script, so pathing is not an issue.
In particular the follwing will not start:
/usr/bin/X11/xset fp+ tcp/${FONTSERVER}:7000 -display :${DNUM}
/usr/bin/sleep 10
/usr/bin/X11/mwm -display :${DNUM} &
/usr/bin/sleep 10
/usr/bin/X11/xclock -display :${DNUM} &
does anyone have this working properly?

Re: xvfb will not start properly at boot
/usr/bin/sleep ?
I don't think it needs to be there. The isntall doesn't seem standard
Start the install over with this patch:
11.00
http://www2.itrc.hp.com/service/patch/patchDetail.do?patchid=PHSS_26620&context=hpux:700:11:00
11.11
http://www2.itrc.hp.com/service/patch/patchDetail.do?patchid=PHSS_26622&context=hpux:700:11:11
check the config file /etc/rc.config.d/xfs for the variable FONTSERVER=1
configuration of the xvfb tool is in this file:
/etc/rc.config.d/xvfb
I do have it working properly on four servers.
