Xvnc doesn't work properly with -inetd

The system is a HP-UX 11.0 on a HP-9000. Gigs of memory. Oracle 8. X-Windows (using Reflection X 9) works fine. VNC works fine also, when started manually (vncserver ...).

But when a VNC session is started from "Xvnc -inetd" the connection is dropped after the user name (root) and password are entered.

A have another server, with just the same configuration, that works like a charm.

Any clue???

Thanks. Nobody seems to have the same problem I have.

Hello,

have you checked the "/etc/rc.config.d/nddconf" on both systems? There could be difference there...

Just my $0.02,

Wodisch, if you keep tossing in your $.02 in, you'll be broke and you'll never be able to leave.

When someone asks you, "A penny for your thoughts", and you put your two cents in, what happens to the other penny?

Thank you guys, for all your help :)

I've checked the files. On both machines they are just the same, i.e. completely commented out.
